Tom DeAngelis
Chief People Officer
Tom DeAngelis joined Walleye in November 2023 as Chief People Officer. He is responsible for leading the firm's efforts across the employee experience, including recruiting and employee development. Prior to joining Walleye, Mr. DeAngelis was the Head of Business Development for Citadel's Global Equity Business. He joined Citadel in 2019 and led a team responsible for talent sourcing. Prior to Citadel, Mr. DeAngelis was the Director of Alternatives for 37 Capital, the hedge fund division he helped start at Putnam Investments, and Global Head of Business Development & Investor Relations at Hutchin Hill Capital. From 2008 to 2017, Tom was at Balyasny Asset Management, where he was Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Marketing & Investor Relations. Mr. DeAngelis began his career at Lehman Brothers serving as a Product Specialist in London and New York from 2003 to 2008. Mr. DeAngelis earned an M.B.A. from Fordham University and a B.S. in Business Administration from The College of New Jersey.
